Cockatoos

Sonntags morgens in Halls Creek:
Kein Mensch weit und breit auf der Straße, aber wenigstens bieten die Nacktaugenkakadus im Eukalyptusbaum mit ihrem Gezeter eine sehens- und vor allen Dingen hörenswerte Show.

On a Sunday morning in Halls Creek: Not a soul in sight, but at least the Corellas in the eucalyptus trees are putting on quite a show.

They are raucous brutes! Once camped near about 1000 of them.
We have the yellow cresteds here..equally as noisy, and they strip our walnut tree!

Special K replied to Diana Australis:

Wow, those two were already very noisy, so I can't image about 1000 of them...
Still, it is always a pleasure for me to see them in wildlife and not caged or in a zoo.
Kind regards, Karin
