This bridge is the Old Caledonian Railway Bridge (often just called the Caledonian Railway Bridge or Caley Bridge); the disused former rail crossing immediately upstream of the tidal weir at Glasgow Green.
There are currently no published plans to repair, restore, or repurpose the Bridge.
There have been informal suggestions over the years (e.g., converting it into a footbridge or viewing platform), but none have progressed to feasibility studies or planning submissions.
Thanks for your very kind comment, Amelia. Best wishes, Joe
