On this street there used to be a jewellers where my Dad worked, called Ramseys - I think. The shop is still there. It has curved windows and I seem to think that it is now a travel agent.

Yes, Amelia, it is now a branch of Thomas Cook. Cheers, Joe

The Congregational church used to be on this street too, but I looked for it the last time we were in St.Andrews and cannot really pick out where it was - somewhere on the RHS I seem to remember.

Joe, Son of the Rock replied to Amelia:

I don't remember the Congregational Church, Amelia, but I do remember a record shop in which I heard for the first time 'Tubular Bells' by Mike Oldfield. It was on its day of release, which was 25 May 1973. Cheers, Joe
