The roaring sound, as it fell along with rain, was a shock, before daylight. The first thing you do is go upstairs and check for leaks after hail. – Probably for the next month or so. I hate modern weather.

Thank you, Roger. You know, these fell before daylight, and it was probably an hour later that I went out, and spotted these. I assumed they'd already melted before sunrise, as it was close to 21ºC outside.
