On my camera there's a button to lock the exposure. I first pointed the camera onto brightly litt part of the wall. I locked the exposure, and then composed the shot.

That's excellent, I love the reflections in the windows! The exposure is spot on, I guess it probably is exactly as you would have seen it with your eyes.
