Thanks--but, it was sort of my reaction to relentless and indiscriminate recording to the detriment of actual experience. There were some people on this tourist-y cruise who I think did not see the Eiffel Tower except through the window of a device (which, yes, is a contrary observation from someone who so enjoys photography). So that the priority becomes creating proof of an impression that never actually occurred, if you know what I mean.
