Crow in Field

I have a lot of admiration for wildlife photographers, not only because of their skill, but also their dedication. Gordon Buchanan is one I particularly admire.

I have managed to photograph deer in the UK, as well as a bear and a moose in America. Underwater it is a lot easier, while today on a walk I had to settle for this.

Die Krähe wirkt etwas verloren auf dem Feld. Naturfotografie ist etwas, das Geduld und Respekt vor der Natur erfordert. Ein Freund von mir ist da auch gut dabei, leider nicht bei ipernity, er hostet seine Bilder lieber selbst.

Ah yes, this is my kind of photography. wildlife in context showing habitat in this case also showing the parched ground. It’s very hard to emulate someone like Gordon Buchanan he’s got all the gear and lots of time and patience and most people are probably lacking at least two of the three.
