Great! The post-office is open, the mailbox (an awesome one, the only one "wall mailbox" I've seen so far was in Baden-Baden two years ago) hopefully as well, the lovely shop anyway...but I'm afraid I'll pass on the ice-cream in weather like this ;-)

Happy shopping, Rosa!

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Edna Edenkoben:

Thank you Edna. There are still a lot of wall mailboxes around here. It really is a lovely shop with local produce, but I'm with you....I'll pass on the ice-cream :-)

Happy Weekend.

I couldn't agree with you more, Rosalyn: all the life of the village can be concentrated in this warm, friendly place, which seems to bring together many of your traditions!
The warm, contrasting colors of your main capture, and the charm of your PiPs, are a real pleasure!
I wish you a pleasant weekend.

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Eric Desjours:

Thank you so much for your kind comment Eric. I guess village shops have to do what they can to attract custom nowadays. It was nice to see bread from a local bakery and many other locally sourced good inside. My daughter shops there often, so I hope they trade for years to come.

Have a great weekend Eric.

It looks most inviting Rosa ~ I hope that they last for many more years to come! (The Post Office has treated a lot of its members shamefully) Hanwe

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Nick Weall:

The new owners have only been there for 6 months but they seem very happy with how it's going. I'll be back for sure. Oh the docudrama has been quite upsetting hasn't it! It really is shameful.
Have a nice weekend Nick.
