Farleigh Hungerford Castle Grounds with PiPs
With PiPs of the interior ~ A figure of St George slaying the dragon dominates the chapel's east wall. It dates from the 1440s. It was almost certainly commissioned by Walter, first Lord Hungerford. The painting of St George was rediscovered in 1844, along with a smaller figure of a kneeling knight wearing the Hungerford arms. But early efforts at conserving them probably did more harm than good.

I like the interior shots as well.........especially the painting of St George..........which is in remarkable condition for its age.
Superb photography Rosa...........enjoy the rest of your day. Only a few drops of rain here so far, but a dark and dreary day (especially as I had to go food shopping earlier) :-(
