The Ashmore Pond Ducks.

This pictures is heavily cropped as I didn't want to disturb the ducks, but thought I would give an update, and they are all still looking good! When I arrived in Ashmore they were all sitting on the grass surrounding the pond but a few hours later when I was leaving, I couldn't believe they were all together in the middle of the pond, looking very cosy.

What a bunch of cuties! Funnily enough, I just looked up the collective noun for Ducks.........and there are several, depending on the type of duck and what they're doing. Judite seems to have nailed it as one of the collective nouns is "a raft" of ducks :-))
