Completed Rose Garden, 1967. The previous summer my mother-in-law built the patio, set the planters, and installed the swing almost entirely on her own in the stifling heat and humidity of southwestern Illinois. Submitted to the Vintage Photos Theme Park for the theme, STUFF IN THE YARD.
