Tiller bar steering on this 1904 Knox Tourneau was soon replaced by the steering wheel. Most other autos of this vintage were already using the wheel.

Thanks, Alan. Yeah, the driver is really working it. I've wondered who the owner of the vehicle was. That may be him in the left rear of the car.
