Sister Karen and me at Halloween, 1952. She, a clown and I, Dr. Jekyll AND Mr. Hyde, depending which side of the costume was facing the observer. Also, dad's pumpkin sculpture that creeped me out.

Who would think to make a Jeykll & Hyde costume for a small child? Who would purchase such a costume for their adorable (depending on which side of me you were observing) offspring??

Such great costumes! And that pumpkin sculpture is a work of art; it must have taken a long time for your Dad to do. I wish I had more childhood Halloween pics. Love seeing everyone elses. :)

Thank you. My dad was quite artistically talented but, strangely, he rarely displayed it except on rare occasions like this. I can't get a good circle with a pencil.
