haha - Oh yes. Besides being so narrow, the couple of times I've been driven through the hedges I've totally freaked out. Definitely the wrong side of the road - don't they know Right is Right, and Left is Wrong? hahaha
They are indeed beautiful and delightful without all the interference of lines and signs to distract from the nature. If the driver hadn't been going so fast I would have enjoyed it more. I like to be behind the wheel for fast, but I won't ever drive in England.
I think we only had to reverse once and only a short distance on this road trip. It's fun for me now to watch this, but at the time it was certainly scary for me.
I enjoyed your video; I think I have travelled that road, or one very like it. Wiltshire is a county of contrasts, as you might have noticed. Some parts are quite densely populated whereas others are sparse. A good many well-to-do people live in the more sparsely populated parts and can give you a surprise by being on a horse when you round a bend in your car. The little villages that you would like to photograph tend not to have any places to park without causing an obstruction. The major roads are very busy. There seem to be a lot of accidents. You were right to be a bit apprehensive when you travelled on Wiltshire roads.
