actually, that day was the only one with the typical weather - so i was happy to be in that spot at that time (the rest of the trip was too hot and sunny).

Weary of the hot dry summer and ready for autumn, if we have any.

Oh yes, it was glorious! Never would have gone except for our friend from Lancaster giving us the insider's tour. I think it's so beautiful there that one can't take a bad photo of it. Thanks.

I'm so happy you like this - and that you commented so I would look at it again. It reminds me of my vacation there which was really wonderful. It's supposed to be the best viewpoint in England (I'm sure many will argue that point - but it must be in the top group for sure.)
