Heya Neil and Korat...I see you both enjoy your weekend! ;)

Polyrus replied to Tanja - Loughcrew:

I have spent hundreds of hours over the years, trying to get her to smile, but she continues to deny me. However, she often has smiling eyes and does make me laugh a lot.
If she has a good w/e, then so will I as I hope you do too!

non, pas lui tirer par les oreilles !

Polyrus replied to Thérèse:

Mais pourquoi, Thérése? Elle m'aime à jouer avec ses oreilles! Chaque fois que je fais quelque chose dont elle n'est pas satisfaite, elle me touche rapidement avec ses dents très pointues, donc je n'ai jamais intentionnellement bouleversée ;-)

A really charming image Neil..............and a beautiful cat. I love those green eyes..!! She looks a touch stunned at having her photo taken.

I'd never heard of this cat breed before today..............what a wonderful companion (although I've heard that cats don't have companions - they have staff)!!

Polyrus replied to Keith Burton:

She has a charming personality, Keith.
I first saw her on the day after she was born, and her then senior member of staff called her 'Blue' as she then had beautiful blue eyes. I thought she looked like a large grey mouse ...so when she came to live with me and my now ex-wife a few weeks later, I called her 'Mouse'.

A Korat is the oldest known type of cat in old Siam, thus making Korats the original Siamese cats.

The look says "point that thing any closer and you will need a different finger to press the button"

Polyrus replied to HappySnapper:

It was certainly a strange look, and one I'd not seen before....or since. But then it's the only time she has been face to face with a camera and she was more intrigued than anything. I'm usually the worried one when her eyes are wide open.
As an aside it shows how good modern pocket cameras are as it was all done on auto settings....no time to do any focussing.

A demonic and reassuring companion. "Familiar" is the right word.

Polyrus replied to Steve Bucknell:

I'm assuming it's a familiarity of bloodline to you, since you are king of the world and she is really a princess ;-)

Polyrus replied to Pam J:

She saw this shot for the first time yesterday and just scoffed at it ;-)
There was a time when I thought she could not see a screen clearly, then one day as we were both watching a football game on line, she tried to catch the football with her claws and ruined the expensive screen!
