Thanks, I sort of had a front row seat to the event which made it easy to capture. My deck faces east across a valley where the moon rose. Its path was almost directly over the deck. It reached full eclipse well before it disappeared over the house. It was very cold (20°F) that night, so another advantage I had was that I could keep ducking back in and out of the house to warm up between shots as the eclipse progressed.
