The Shore was a fairly ordinary town centre pub, which gradually went downhill. It went out of business several years ago. I can't remember if it was Covid that finally did for it. It has reportedly been acquired by the owners of the Constitutional Social Club to replace their current building, a little further out of the centre. There is accommodation upstairs at the front, but any alterations there cannot be seen from outside the site.
