I was showing my newly adult grand-daughter around some of the more interesting, colourful streets of Brighton, ones where she wouldn't have gone with her much younger step-brothers and sister. One of the great joys of being a Grandad is being able to go on little adventures with the younger generation. When you are a parent there is often limited scope for one-to-one experiences when there is work, home and family life to juggle.
