All I know about Lewes is that my parents were on the verge of buying a shop site there to start their wine business but it fell through at the last minute, They did set up elsewhere, and successfully, but we're talking early 80s now and I can't remember too much of the town.

When I have a cohesive series of snaps, putting a little logo, icon, call it what you will, onto all the images makes it easier to identify the group, if the processing gets interrupted. It also saves having to type the same details on every picture. As to putting the captions on to the image, rather than relying on the file name, this was something a county archivist praised me for. She said that as time goes by and files are transferred, duplicated and otherwise reorganised, they can lose their file names or have them corrupted and vital information is lost to future generations.
