I am pleased that you like this. The red pattern started as a rectangle. I used Photoshop Elements 'liquify' tool to pull curved shapes out of it. Then the 'polar coordinates' tool was used to curve the whole shape. After that it was copied and the colour changed twice. The resulting green and blue shapes were bent and turned. The background layers were added, each with more Elements magic!

It looked very ordinary when it was only the three coloured shapes on a white or black background. Adding the layered background really made it a more striking image.
