Thanks, Rosalyn. The pond is cared for by a group of local people, who have planted these crocuses in groups alongside the road that skirts the pond. They can only really be photographed in these small groups, because they wind along the roadside interwoven with a low chain and post fence, so one can't get a nice wide view.
