Historic Dockyard

It was a very hazy day when I visited, so the photos from 100 metres up didn't turn out well. This view shows a silhouette of the tower over the adjacent railway station, with the Historic Dockyard behind.

I have been to Portsmouth about half a dozen times but for some reason I have never been up the Spinaker Tower. That's a shame as the views are infinitely more interesting than Brighton, as I can see from this view. I went up in the ferris wheel but won't bother with the 360i.

It's also a few quid cheaper! My visit coincided with last month's pollution haze over southern England, so the Isle Of Wight was nothing more than a grey-blue smudge on the horizon. Still worth doing though.
