My reason for visiting Albany was to see the “Lighting the Sound” installation by the Finnish light artist, Kari Kola in conjunction with elders of the Menang people of the area. The lights were along Frenchman Bay Road and viewing was from the area around the Anzac Peace Park and the foreshore of the town. Thus the lights seen here are about 5km from the viewers.

These colours are from the first of three weekend showings. As I understand it, weekend 2 and 3 are/were different.

Strangely, the best picture we took was not from any of our three Canon DSLR cameras nor from my 40MP FujifilmX-T5 but from a humble old iPhone. Go figure, hey?

I think it may have been just setting on the camera. Camera more blown out you need a shorter shutter time , camera is more liable to expose for total area you have to take control of the camera yourself auto camera will not help you. great shot by the phone.

A great image and I saw something about this somewhere else, John. It looks to have been a fascinating show.
