Well spotted and captured, John. but surely when Santa gets to Australia he's shucked off most of those duds.

He comes to us quite early in his journey, John, whilst he is still fresh and frisky. He has his shorts on until he hits Europe. His clothing in this picture is for promotional purposes only; he doesn't wear it all the time, you know.
By the time he gets to you the poor beggar is hot, sweaty and knackered.

That explains why I got so little last Christmas. He was so tired he forgot me.

Or he decided you were naughty not nice.
