People's sundry junk is always worth inspection, but their laundry screams for attention. That alone makes this picture, and others I recall, worth close examination. I also appreciate the fight going on between the various roof angles and the architectural preference for first floor living. The Australian house numbering system where '4' jumps straight to '10' is bold and typically Oz. I think we need more of these vicarious pictures to broaden our knowledge of how colonialism worked out down under, and our anthropological understanding generally.
