Old Owl is teaching us about framing. How many frames can you see? And how about the vase perfectly arranged behind the window in the frame at the bottom contrasting with the reflection of the tree in front of the window? And then the dome of the building which is also in the reflection: some relief from all those sharp angles. Finally, the colours. The enduring impression is of red and blue, but that is similarly relieved by the splash of green and yellow at the bottom, shouting ‘Look at me!’
This photograph also teaches us about Observation and here it is illustrated with a capital ‘O’. I have helped you by putting one in.
Being part of this community is akin to popping in late to a lecture by a respected philosophy professor and realising you've missed something rather good.
