Eats

Happy Fence Friday to all. This is in Oxford Street, Leederville in Perth, WA, a strip where you can eat to your heart's content at more cafés than you can shake a stick at. Press Z to see the people enjoying the mild sunshine along with their coffee. Now that autumn has arrived here in Western Australia the temperatures have ameliorated to a more pleasant 28 degrees or so.

I hope your day and your weekend are full of whatever it is you desire.

Old Owl replied to Loose_Grip/Pete:

Hi, Pete. It was once a laundrette and like most laundrettes used Speed Queen machines. It is also in Leederville, known colloquially as Leeds. Boring, I'm afraid. To my mind it ought to be the great Beryl Burton, top women's cyclist of the 1950s and 60s.

Great shot! How interesting. When we were last in Perth we stayed near Hillarys Harbour, but did go into the city. Will remember this for next time...
