Excellent shot. As you say they are an invasive species and on the Isle of Wight we only have reds, if greys are seen they must be reported

Thanks -You're lucky geographically that the water keeps them out, there was a similar thing in Belfast at Belvior forest where a major road stopped the greys from getting into the woods with the reds. There's also eviidence that pine martens help protect the reds, they dont eat them but they do eat greys
