I’ve always liked your explorations of neglected corners of the countryside. There’s a remarkable photographer called Matthew Conduit; I’ve got a book of his called Chora, from an Ancient Greek term that sometimes means the countryside surrounding the city. I don’t know if there’s anything online about it, but might be worth a look.

Thanks Steve -I'll get into that and have a look, its one of the reasons I got back to Ipernity -stuff like this, inspiration and information from the good people on here.

If you look for LAND Matthew Conduit it shows you some examples from the Graves Gallery where I saw his work. It doesn’t really give a sense of the scale and almost hyper real sharpness of his work. I literally felt as though I could touch the foliage the effect was so 3D.

You are a genius Steve his stuff is fantastic, many thanks for pointing me in that direction , I'll get a proper look later once my kids are out the way, but his landscape stuff is tremendous , and very similar to the sights you can see around here -definitely some inspiration there
