Church of One Tree was built in 1873 in Santa Rosa, California.
It was constructed from the wood of a single redwood tree. The tree was 275 ft ( 84m) tall and 18 ft (5.5m) in diameter and produced 78000 board-feet ( 180 cubic meters ) of lumber.

I seem to be choosing difficult photos to learn this kind of calotype. The scene is in full shade and a calotype is almost blind to the dull red color.
