Ned replied to Graham Hughes:

Hi Graham, Ha! Not at all. I cut a piece of drink can with old scissors, poke a tiny hole with a needle and sand both sides with emery paper. Never more than 5 minutes. After you've done it a while you can tell if it's between .1-.2mm or .2-.3mm etc. just by looking at it. All my pinhole cameras are simple things with the pinhole just taped in place so it is easy to swap them. If I don't like the results I just make a new one. Different pinholes all have a different "look" and over time I find favorites. Interestingly, most of my favorite pinholes don't look very perfect under a magnifying glass... GREAT for paper negatives, and lots of fun!
