Canfield Hills

Continuing experiments. F/22, 10 sec.

This was overexposed by only 1/2 stop and the effect is reduced. ( Light was also flat with no direct sunshine. ) The overexposure was intentional, then developed in old used dektol diluted to 1:8 with ice water.

@ Holden, thank you!
@ Rodney, I agree. I'm slowly working on a homemade 8x10-sized camera that will use a rapid rectilinear from an old 3A... I'm going to make the aspect ratio the same as this, to preserve this style.

Ned replied to Graham Hughes:

Hi Graham, I overexposed a paper negative in the 3A by mistake. So I diluted the developer way down with ice water to try to slow it down. It made these soft, almost pastel colors when I inverted it! Now I'm trying to do it on purpose. This photo was overexposed less, and the effect is less. It looks like the photo must be overexposed by 1-1/2 to 2 stops. For my next test, I'm going to overexpose even more, but I need some clouds!
