@ Chairman: exactly right! I love paper negatives partly for that reason. Paper has limited range, and it can be very difficult to expose the foreground properly without blowing out the sky. This one was the result of a mistake, and I was very excited to see the clouds -- and the colors.. I have never seen such warm colors on a VC paper negative developed in dektol. It will be an ongoing project to see if this process can be done intentionally.
