There are many sand pits around Sulejówek.
Some of them are one hundred years old, remembering times when sand and clay (from numerous clay pits) were used to rebuild Warsaw and nearby towns after WWI.
Some are deep, some are shallow, all are dry with trees struggling to survive at their borders.

My dog loves this place.
Not so much as the Glinianki swamp, though...

Thank you, Frank!
I like them too :)
And it is an opportunity to mention that my dog's best dog friend is a golden retriever living a block away...

Second only to wading through the swamp, your dog loves to dig in the sand pit!

Now when I think about her priorities I would say: mud, snow and sand - in this order :)
