He was obviously returning from some trip and uncertain what his people would say about him being so wet and dirty. Well, some minutes later I hard an exclamation and some foreboding sentences about water and soap to be applied to the culprit ;)

Well, this Moppy is well worth to be captured. And the gate and the doorway too!
I like the bright light from background against the (not that deep) shaddow around the right gate-wing. "Not that deep" is the good decision, because Moppy is the main subject, situated in the middle, but not in the center, having the path to brightness (his cleanness?) quite ahead.
A well told story in a clear and propper b/w.
