(Makes me a little sad though, I have two of these, plus a few other Hostas, but they were all badly damaged by the spectacular hail storm at the end of May!)
Mike, I am sorry for the misfortune of your hostas!
But hostas are strong, persistent plants.
I know it from my own experience, because my mother loves them and we have many of them in our garden. They are beaten by rains and storms, they are eaten by snails, they are tramped down by my dog when she chases a cat. They cope with it amazingly well!
I am sure that next summer your hostas will be beautiful again!
