An astonishing species: literally millions of years more or less the same plant found in the fossil record. I often try to photograph them, but the depths of shadow, the shifting light they make and the ways they flow across space are so tricky to catch an impression of.
I like the layer of lighter foreground transitioning to the darker background layer you have here, Mark.
Yes,very interesting plant,i was driving home from seaside and run across them,think will visit them again,maybe in fall or early spring to see how they look then.
