I had soldered one of these onto the MBI5168 breakout boards and some sockets simply refused to accept a wire.

First I removed the springy things and replaced them with new ones. Still didn't work. Pulled them out again and the replacement parts were bent out of shape as well. Turns out the inside is f*cked up, probably some error in the molding process.
