THIS IS A WONDERFUL MEMORY FOR ME.. THAT BLUE WAS SO INTENSE IT SOAKS RIGHT INTO YOU IT DID AT THE TIME ITS ALSO ONE OF ONY 3 I THINK CATHEDRALS THAT REMAIN WHERE ONLY THE CONFIRMED FOLK COULD CROSS INTO THE MAIN BODY OF THE CATHEDRAL ! THERE IS A CORRIDOR JOINING THE CHAPLE TO THE CATHEDRAL IT WAS A CONFIRMATION RIGHT OF PASSAGE TO BE CONFIRMED AND CROSS INTO THE MAIN BODY OF THE CATHEDRAL !
I HOPE MY SCRAMBLED BRAIN HAS REMEMBERED IT CORRECTLY !!!
BUT BLUE GLASS WAS SOME OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE COLOUR TO PRODUCE AND WHEN THAT COLOUR SOAKS INTO YOU ITS MAGICAL

Hi Pam, thanks for your comment. I have to admit, that you may know more about both Cathedrals than I do. It was a very hot day and we decided, that we have to go again to Trier sooner or later, because there is much more to see.
