I've never been to Norway, but the scenery always makes me think of Scotland—especially those wild places where the mountains come down to the sea. I used to imagine that Scotland and Norway were once joined together, but it turns out their landscapes look so similar because they were shaped by the same natural forces. Both countries were carved by glaciers and have very similar rocky terrain, weather, and coastlines.
