1959 wurde das Gasfeld entdeckt. 3800 miljard kubikmeter. Ab 1963 von Shell und Exonmobil gefördert. Jetzt stillgelegt wegen erdbeben in Groningen. 800 miljard kubikmeter Gas noch im Boden.
