Balancing Act

A Little Egret balances in a tree over the Mill Pond at Langstone Harbour, Hampshire. I don't have a lens over 150mm, this is a large crop, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Try viewing large if you want ;-)

Our visitors go home today, so I'll be able to catch up with everyone soon.

Egrets are elegant birds and the the one you caught has a perfect pose, Keith!
The bare branches of the tree and the luminous grey of the sky make a great backdrop.
A beautiful capture and image, to be enjoyed full screen!

No 'egrets on this pic Keith :-)
Despite the crop it's still plenty sharp enough and nicely placed in the frame, cracking shot sir
