Sheltering from the rain

My final street candid photo from last Wednesdays walk around Chichester. I have to admit I thought this guy was begging at first, but he wasn't. He seemed to be sheltering from the rain and he moved on quite quickly. It just goes to show you shouldn't make assumptions..!!

I wish you all a good weekend.

Bravo !

He looks like a half-past Midnight Cowboy.

I admire your street photography efforts and you have come up with some eye catchers recently.
I still don’t think I could do this. I would never be relaxed enough, too self conscious and always half expecting some kind of confrontation or at least reaction from the street dwellers

Keith Burton replied to Colin Ashcroft:

Glad you like this one Colin. Street photography is not as difficult as you might think. You just have to wait for a shot and go for it.........people nowadays are so used to people taking photos of everything they hardly notice what you're doing.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

If I'm out with my wife, I sometime use her as "cover" and shoot over her shoulder ;-)

Thanks for your visit and kind comments Güni........always appreciated.

I always try and find a place to stand and let people see me taking photos of. anything that's going on........it's rare that people realise you've taken a photo of them as well. If they do and complain, I just offer to delete the photo. I avoid taking photos of children and young people.

Have a lovely evening my friend and take care. Best wishes, Keith ;-)
