Wild Carrot

Taken in a local churchyard. I think I have the correct identification.

Also known as Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota).

Some of my commenting yesterday was quite rushed as I had to visit our local hospital with my wife. It turned out to be an age-related eye condition, which is not serious, but we were there for hours waiting around and I we got home late in the day. My apologies if I missed anyone!

Long waits at hospitals in England are pretty much normal nowadays Güni............her eye should recover on its own, but it will take a few months. Thanks for your kind wishes.

Glad you like this photo..........and thanks also for your kind comments as always.

Have a lovely evening my friend and take care. Best wishes, Keith ;-)

Thanks also for your commiserations........long waiting times are pretty much the norm here. Luckily, my wife's eye should get better on its own, but it will take a few months.

Beautiful bokeh and a pin sharp shot that as ever looks even better viewed large on black.

I feel for you and your missus having to wait around for hours but I'm glad all is well.
Sometimes this growing older malarkey ain't a lot of fun

Thank you James......I'm really pleased you like this photo. You're very kind as always.

Waiting around is pretty much the norm in our hospitals nowadays, but we were glad to get seen on the day.

Luckily her condition should resolve itself with no treatment, but it will take a few months.
