The Old Fire Station, Topsham, Devon.

The Fire Station closed in 2020 and was about to be demolished. It was instead bought by a local who used to be a fireman based there. It is now a thriving bar and brewery.

Keith Burton replied to David G Johnson:

I didn't go inside, but it seemed to be doing good business David. Personally, I prefer a "real" pub, but it's good to see it wasn't demolished and has got a new role in the community.

July already! Time goes past so quickly as you get older. I hope you're having a good start to the month!

Keith Burton replied to David G Johnson:

That's surprising......there was no sign of that when I visited Topsham. It only opened a couple of years ago!

Keith Burton replied to Günter Klaus:

Yes, it would have been a real shame for it to have been demolished. It's now an important part of the community.

Glad you like it Gǔni.........and thanks as always for your kind comments and greetings.

Have a lovely evening. Best wishes, Keith ;-)

Good to see it has got a new lease of life! Instead of extinguishig fires you can quench your thirst (in German both extinguish and quench translate as "löschen";-)
