Still Life with Mint, Chillies and Garden Eggs

Taken indoors in natural window light. The background is a waterproof outdoor tablecloth.

The mint came from my garden and the chillies and Garden Eggs were bought from a local shop that stocks stuff from the Caribbean.

I'd never heard of Garden Eggs, but I was told they are a type of Egg Plant.

Thank you for your kind words Güni......I'll quite happily take an A ;-)

Glad you like this still life shot.........and all the vegetables it contains. I chose them for their colours. Glad you like the background too.

A great Combination: this could be a superb menu: spicy Garden Egg & Chili Bruschetta.
Roasted garden eggs, blended with sautéed red onions, garlic, and Scotch bonnet chilies. Served on toasted crusty bread and garnished with fresh mint chiffonade.

Did you eat them to test them out? They look not unlike passion fruits. A fabulous still life, Keith.
Keep cool!

Keith Burton replied to Diana Australis:

No, I'm not keen on that sort of stuff Diana. I bought them mainly for their shapes and colours ;-)

Glad you like the result and thanks very much for your visit and lovely comments.

Prima mit der Tischdecke und die leckeren Zutaten werden wohl prima verarbeitet. Ich habe heute gebratene Aubergine mit Joghurt zum Mittag gemacht. Danach war ich pappsatt ;-)))
