This is always a good cathedral to photograph Keith. You have it from the wilds here.
The PiP is pretty good too. Well done.

Thanks for sharing with our UK Landscape Photography Group

Have a great day. Herb

Keith Burton replied to Herb Riddle:

Thanks Herb......glad you like these. I walked for about an hour and a half from the town along the canal and then got the bus back. It was really too bright for decent photos, but I was happy with this pair.

Such kind comments as always........which are always appreciated..!!

Both wonderful and well composed photos! I love how the spire seems to grow out of the lush vegetation. In the PiP the canal and boats lead the eye towards the cathedral.

Keith Burton replied to Günter Klaus:

Thank you so much for these lovely comments Güni.........I'm really pleased you like both of these images, it was hard work getting them in the heat of the day :-))

It is possible to take a canal boat ride, but it's difficult to get photos from the moving boat and it's normally pretty crowded, so I had to walk.

Have a lovely evening my friend, best wishes, Keith ;-)

Thank you James.......glad you like them both. Such kind comments as always my friend ;-)

I got a train to Chichester, walked for about one and a half hours along the canal then got a bus back to Chichester and finally another train to Havant, then a 10 min walk home. Still, I heard you have to suffer for your art :-)))

Günter Klaus replied to Keith Burton:

Heraußen kann man sich auch toll auf das Fotografieren konzentrieren, aber,da es bei euch auch sehr heiß war,ist es auch sehr anstrengend, pass nur immer gut auf dich auf lieber Keith, ich bin auch immer froh, dass es durch meine kleinen Wälder drinnen schattiger ist :))

Wünsche noch einen schönen Tagesausklang, liebe Grüße Güni :))

James replied to Keith Burton:

Too hot out there for me although I have ventured into the back garden to take a pic, no matter what I like to take at least one photo a day but I have a long way to go before I can catch up with photographer Arthur Tress he has taken a pic a day for 60 years!!

Keith Burton replied to Günter Klaus:

Kind words Güni, but I needed to get some exercise and I think it did me good ;-) It's still extremely hot here!
