Cattle Egret (record shot).

I spotted half a dozen of these in a field with horses in, near where I live. This was the only one that came close enough to get a shot and it's the first time I've ever seen one in the wild, as they're not that common in my part of the country.

This is a large crop, but I was just pleased to get a shot, so I'm pretty happy with it........as long as I don't look too closely :-))

A 'record shot' -well I suppose practically all natural history shots can be called that :) -To me, just a cracking capture of this rare to me Egret. Well done

Cheers. Herb

Well captured Keith I haven't seen one you can sometimes see little Egrets a birder I know says 25 years ago seeing one would have been a major event. Have you tried cropping it I have zoomed in it would stand cropping

Nice capture, we see them very often in the area where I live, but I never had my cam with me, when I saw them.
