St Faith's Cemetery

A few photos from my walk around the cemetery this afternoon. There are several cemeteries in Havant, but this one is very old and is rarely used for burials nowadays. Apart from a small area, most of it is now managed for wildlife and wild flowers (see the sign in the PiP for details).

There is not much there at the moment, but I'll be back later for another look!

A very fine collage, Keith.
This old cemetery looks like a garden, it must be pleasant to have a walk there.

Yes, it's a lovely place to wander round, some of the old graves date from the early 1800s. It will look much better in the summer!

A lovely collage, I love primroses!
Primula veris (top right) is rare and protected where I am. There used to many more when I was a kid but farmers' fertilizers caused their disappearance.

Keith Burton replied to Gudrun:

Thank you so much Gudrun.............I'm very pleased you like this little collection. There were quite a few primroses around, but only this one patch of Primula Veris.
